In the recent movie Ocean's Twelve, Matt Damon's character recites the opening lines of Led Zeppelin's Kashmir in a scene where George Clooney, Brad Pitt and he are speaking "code" to a possible heist. He says:

"Oh let the sun beat down upon my face, stars to fill my dream. I am a traveler of both time and space, to be where I have been."

Brighton, U.K.'s daily newspaper The Argus reported in its Nov. 24 edition that Led Zeppelin stars Jimmy Page and Robert Plant came along to Deep Purple's sold-out gig at the Brighton Centre last month. After being "begged to get on stage and join their old mockers," they declined, preferring to watch along with the fans.

Minor planet number 44016 has been named in honor of Jimmy Page, lead guitarist with Led Zeppelin.

(44016) Jimmypage is in a 4.30-year elliptical orbit around the sun ranging in distance from 332.5 million km (at perihelion, closest point to the sun) to 458.9 million km (at aphelion, furthest point from the sun).

Jeff Ocheltree transitioned from replaceable “roadie” to invaluable “drum tech” by being the first person to take complete care of all aspects of the drums, in the glory days of such legends as Bonham and Cobham. In his first instructional DVD, he discusses his experiences and teaches techniques valuable to drum techs and all drummers – with hands-on examples using nine different kits and nine drummers. Jeff also discusses the unique bronze drums he makes from recycled cymbals. As a special bonus, John Bonham's kit used in Zeppelin recordings appears on screen for the first time ever, and Bonzo's settings, tunings and mic placements are revealed!

Jeff owns a drumset that was given to him by Bonham (one of the green sparkle Ludwigs) and he features it in the video. He talks about all of the pertinent details including sizes, heads, cymbals, tuning/dampening, and even studio vs. live mic'ing. However, the DVD is not entirely focused on Jeff's work with Bonham. That's only one section of it. It's really about him and how he was partially, if not wholly, responsible for the evolution of the job of "drum tech", and it features playing and interviews with notable drummers including Danny Carey, Steve Smith, Lenny Whie, and Dean Butterworth.

The majority of the songs on "eMOTIVe" are cover songs of politically motivated protest singers. Various artists covered include John Lennon, Marvin Gaye, Led Zeppelin (who made the song When the Levee Breaks famous even if credit goes to Memphis Minnie), Depeche Mode, Devo and Black Flag. While the band competently covers all of the songs, the majority of them didn't need to be covered.
