It's been announced that Robert Plant will perform with the African band Tinariwen in Paris on April 7th at the Le Bataclan. Tinariwen's new album, produced by Justin Adams, Aman Iman is out now. Robert last performed with the group at the Teatro Nazionale in Milan back in May 2006 as part of the concert in memory of the late Ali Farka Toure. Tinariwen began a three mouth European tour this week which include shows in the UK in March and May. Please go to Tinariwen.com for more information. It's also just been announced that Justin Adams, guitarist from the Strange Sensation will support Tinariwen at The Barbican in London on March 23 along with Gambian Griot Juldeh Camara, Juldeh is a virtuoso on the one-string fiddle.
