John Bonham replaced the auxillary toms with a 29-inch Ludwig Universal Tympani (Model #LKU329FH) at the beginning of the 1972 Japanese Tour, on October 02, 1972 and added a 29-inch Ludwig Machine Tympani (Model #LKM229FH) on November 30, 1972. He used them in his drum solos as well as in other songs, such as Dazed And Confused and The Rain Song.
